In 2009, after graduating with a Masters of Photography from Edith Cowan University, Marnya moved to Sydney and started photographing actors. Since then she’s photographed some of Australia’s most talented performing artists and many stage and film productions.
Marnya has also had successful exhibitions of her own artwork nationally and was invited to exhibit in both FotoFreo and Head On Photography Festivals. Her work has also been published in various national and international magazines.
She continues to work on new exhibitions and promises there will be a new one soon.
Marnya is based in Sydney and specialises in actor headshots and portraits, shooting at locations all around Australia, utilising both natural light on location or a studio-shoot in her St Peter’s studio. She also produces promotion images and production stills for film production companies such as Goalpost Pictures and theatre companies including Sport for Jove and Bell Shakespeare.
Marnya frequently travels nationally to photograph actors.
